  • Mission Statement: To provide educational programs in a hospital setting, combining the best of both disciplines (medical & educational) to serve children with severe emotional challenges. An elementary and a secondary program are operated as a joint venture, with the White Plains Public schools providing the educational staff and NYPH providing the mental health staff and setting. Children are placed in the programs by their local school districts, and are mostly Westchester residents. (Some children reside in the Bronx).

  • Other: *A school program, which includes Art, Music and physical education, is provided. Mental Health services, which include therapy, family counseling and (elementary school only) medication management, are provided. Summer programs (elementary school only) offers swimming.
