Statement:

Mission: WIHD creates better futures for people with disabilities and vulnerable children and for their families and caregivers.  WIHD accomplishes its mission through professional education, innovative services and supports, community training and technical assistance and research and information dissemination.

Values: WHID policies, programs and activities seek to advance the following core values: inclusion and self-determination; safety, permanency and well-being; family and community partnerships; cultural competence and diversity; and leadership and innovation.
