- Mission Statement:
The Vocational Assistance Project (VAP) provides Vocational Rehabilitation Services in Westchester County to individuals recovering from alcohol or other substance abuse at 4 partner sites in Westchester County. Funded through OASAS, individuals who are engaged in treatment at one of the four partner sites throughout the county are eligible for a vocational services to assist in vocational planning. The recommendations can then be incorporated into each clients' individual treatment plans and worked on collaboratively with their treatment team toward the outcome of community reintegration. *Please note this is a contracted service with one of four sites in Westchester County. Only those individuals enrolled in Substance Use Services at one of these sites are eligible: Lexington Center for Recovery – Mount Kisco Clinic, St. John’s Riverside Hospital – Archway Clinic, Halfway Houses of Westchester – Hawthorne House, The Guidance Center of Westchester – Sunrise.
